I'm an experienced cat owner and foster cat carer with a genuine interest in feline behaviour. Friends often describe me as a “cat whisperer” because I am calm and patient, even with the most cautious cats.The second half of 2025 was spent looking after our own senior cat with complex care needs. Taking care of him showed me just how hard it can be to leave a cat needing extra support in someone else's hands. That's what inspired me to start cat sitting, with a particular focus on older, anxious, recovering and medicated cats who benefit from calm and consistent care.Whether it's a mischievous kitten, a reserved rescue or a senior needing a little extra support, I'll care for them at their own pace, with patience, respect and kindness.Visits include feeding, replenishing water, scooping litter boxes, administering meds if needed and, of course, lots of fuss (on the cat's terms)! I also provide photos/videos and detailed written updates after each visit.I have experience administering oral medication, supporting wound care routines and maintaining structured care schedules. I'll also let you know if I notice any changes or anything that doesn't seem quite right.
